Sports! I have a mixed relationship, to the sport

ree

I would never call myself a jock, but I have learned in recent years, without sports it just does not work.

I have tried and tried a lot of things but somehow never really enjoy sports. The only thing I have been able to do for years is Nordic Walking. I enjoy my surroundings or I listen to an audio book. I've tried a few types of yoga, but still haven't found my favorite.

I like Pilates better, but even there it still hasn't grabbed me. Somehow I am still searching for the right sport for me.

What helps me extremely to switch off my head somewhere is golf. During a game of golf, I have to fixate on the little round ball in such a way that at least once I have the feeling that my head is getting a little calmer. But that's not really sport. Or is it?

Who tells us what sport is? For myself, I have come to the conclusion that I get by very well with Nordic Walking, which I do two or three times a week. I'm still looking for my sport, but at least I have the feeling that I'm not just a couch potato.
